Workouts and free rows
Your plan gives you a workout most days, but you can row anything you like. The Workouts tab is where you find it.
Today's plan
The top of the tab shows today's planned workout, with Start planned row and View plan.
Free row
Just want to row? Tap Set up free row to record a row with no set structure. Norvin records it and your plan takes it into account.
The workout library
Workout library holds every workout Norvin prescribes, from easy steady rows to race-pace pieces. Search it, filter by duration, by type — Recovery, Easy, Steady, Threshold, Speed, Power, Race or Custom — by peak intensity or by whether it's set by time or distance, and switch between Workouts, Favorite and My workouts.
Tap a workout to see its structure and why you'd row it, then:
- Row now — row it today. It's added to today as its own session; if you had a planned workout today and don't row it, Norvin counts it as replaced.
- Add to plan — put it on a day in your plan.
- Customize a copy — make your own version to edit.
Build your own
Tap + Create to build a workout. Give it a name and purpose, add a warm-up and cool-down, then add efforts by time or distance — single pieces or repeats with rest — with targets set by zone or by pace. Save workout, and it's in My workouts, ready to row or add to your plan. You can Edit workout or Delete workout later.
Targets from your baseline
Pace targets in every workout come from your baseline, so the same workout fits you as your fitness changes. Your 2k pace and baseline.
Rowing live, the library and the builder are part of Norvin membership. Without membership, the Workouts tab still lets you Log a past row.
