Connected accounts
Rows you record live in Norvin are saved straight to your account — no other app needed. Connected accounts are for everything else: the rows you did before Norvin, and rows you do without your phone.
What you can connect
- Concept2 Logbook. Rows you log on the Concept2 Logbook — including everything ErgData saves — come into Norvin on their own.
- Intervals.icu. A free training platform that collects workouts from many devices and apps (Garmin, Wahoo and more), so it's a good way to bring in rows from elsewhere.
Norvin reads your rows from these accounts. It sends nothing to them unless you choose to — see Sending and sharing rows.
Connecting an account
In the app, go to Profile › Connected accounts (the screen is called Your data) and tap the source you want. You'll sign in with that service and come straight back. You can also connect during setup, on the Connect your training history? step.
On the web, it's Profile › Connections.
New rows sync on their own. To check now, pull down on Your data to sync; the latest import and its status are shown there.
Can't connect? Update the app
Connecting a new account from the app needs the latest version of Norvin. If tapping Connect opened this page, update Norvin, then try again.
Until then, you can:
- Connect on the web instead, at Profile › Connections on norvin.fit.
- Add Intervals.icu with an API key (see below).
Accounts you've already connected keep syncing.
Intervals.icu: sign-in or API key
The quickest way is Connect with Intervals.icu: you sign in to Intervals.icu, approve Norvin, and you're done.
You can use an API key instead:
- In Intervals.icu, open Settings and scroll to the Developer section.
- Create an API key — name it "Norvin" — and copy it. You won't see it again once you close the dialog.
- In Norvin, open Profile › Connected accounts › Intervals.icu, paste the key and tap Test connection, then Save. On the web, tap Use API key instead under Profile › Connections.
Leave Athlete ID empty unless you want to read a different athlete's data than your own Intervals.icu account.
Disconnecting
Open the source in Your data and tap Disconnect. Rows already in Norvin stay in your history.
The same row in two places
If a row reaches Norvin twice — recorded live and also synced from your Logbook, say — Norvin matches them up so it counts once. If the same row ever shows up twice, open the extra one and use Session options › Discard this session. If one row arrived as two parts, use Combine with another session instead.
