The live screen
The live screen answers one question at a glance: are you where this step wants you?
Pace
The big number is your pace per 500m. When a step has a target, the band shows its range and the colour shows where you are: green inside it, amber just outside, red well outside.
The tiles
Rate, heart rate, distance and elapsed time. When a step asks for a stroke rate, the Rate tile shows the target range in place of its label. Choose Watts in Profile › Units to add a Power tile.
What comes next
The next steps sit below your numbers, and a cue tells you before each change so it never catches you mid-stroke. With Interval haptics on — they are unless you turn them off in the same settings — your phone taps before each change, at the change, and at the finish.
Pause and Stop
Pause stops recording, and your step waits for you. Stop lets you review before anything is saved — once you have rowed the whole workout it reads Finish workout. Before you finish, Norvin asks how hard it was; you can skip that and rate it later.
If the connection drops
Keep rowing. Norvin reconnects on its own, and your row so far is saved. If it can't, tap Reconnect, or stop to finish.
Row with the Norvin app
Rowing happens in the Norvin app — it reads your erg live over Bluetooth.
