Trends
What Trends shows
Trends gives you the long view of your training: how your volume, intensity and performance have changed over weeks and months. It shows patterns a single session can't.
Find it under Progress › Trends in the app, and Progress on the web.
Build your training picture
Trends becomes available after you import rowing history from a connected source or complete three rowing workouts. An empty connection or history from other sports doesn't count. Until then, Trends shows your progress with Connect a source and Row now.
You can use Customize to choose your trends before your history is ready, and your choices will be waiting. Individual charts may still need more data before they show a useful trend.
Choose your trends
Tap Customize to pick the trends you want, then Save trends. Your choices are saved to your account and used on both your iPhone and the web. There are twelve to choose from:
- Weekly distance, Sessions per week and Weekly training load — how much you're rowing.
- Easy vs hard (80/20) — how your training splits between easy and hard work.
- Plan consistency — how closely you're following your plan.
- 2k pace vs goal — your 2k pace moving toward your target.
- Average power and Aerobic efficiency — whether you're producing more for the same effort.
- Personal records and Fitness trajectory — your bests, and where your fitness is heading.
- Readiness trend and Effort calibration — how ready you've been, and how your effort ratings line up with the work.
Weekly distance, Sessions per week and Readiness trend are shown until you choose.
Reading the charts
Choose 30d, 60d, 90d or All to set the range. Touch a chart to see the week or session behind a point.
A good Training Load chart rises gradually, with lighter Lighter week weeks along the way. In Easy vs hard, a well-balanced Polarized week has most of its time in UT2 and UT1, with a smaller, steady slice of harder work. Improving fitness shows as faster splits or more Power at the same heart rate or RPE.
