Apple Health

Norvin can save the rows you finish to Apple Health, so they count toward your Activity rings and sit alongside the rest of your health data.

Turning it on

  1. In Norvin, go to Profile › Apple Health.
  2. Turn on Save rows to Apple Health.
  3. Allow Norvin to save workouts when your iPhone asks.

It's off until you turn it on.

What's saved

Each row you finish in Norvin is saved as an indoor rowing workout, with its distance and active calories.

Norvin only writes to Health. It doesn't read anything from it.

Counting each row once

If ErgData or another app also saves your rows to Apple Health, turn that off, so each row counts once.

If rows aren't appearing

If Health isn't letting Norvin save workouts, Norvin shows Open Health. In the Health app, go to Sharing › Apps › Norvin and allow it to write workouts.

To stop saving rows, turn the switch off again in Norvin, or remove Norvin's access in the Health app. Rows already saved stay in Health until you delete them there. Discarding a session in Norvin removes it from Health too.
