Norvin membership

What Norvin membership includes

Membership is how you train with Norvin. It includes:

  • your plan, built on British Rowing methodology and adapted to what you actually row
  • rowing live with your rower, with pace targets for every step
  • the workout library and builder
  • an analysis of every row, and the daily Coach's note
  • goal tracking and Trends
  • immersive scenes

There is one membership, billed monthly or yearly. Current prices are on the pricing page, and the App Store shows the price in your currency before you confirm.

Founding members

The yearly membership is at its founding price until the end of 2026 or the first 200 members to pay at the founding price, whichever comes first, and founding members keep that price for as long as their membership stays active. A yearly membership started before the offer ends counts, free trial included, and so does switching from monthly to yearly in that time. The founding price shows in the app and in the App Store, in your local currency.

If your membership ends, the App Store keeps your founding price for 60 days, so you can come back at it. After that, rejoining is at the price shown at the time. Moving to the monthly plan ends the founding price.

The free trial

New members get 14 days free, with everything included from the first day. You start the trial in the Norvin app on iPhone, at the end of setting up your plan.

We'll remind you about 2 days before it ends: by email, even if you've turned Norvin's emails off, and by push if notifications are on. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends and you won't be charged. If you don't cancel, your membership starts when the trial ends.

The App Store gives the free trial once per Apple Account. If you've had it before, membership starts as a paid subscription, and the app shows that before you confirm.

Joining

Membership starts in the Norvin app on iPhone. It's an auto-renewing App Store subscription, billed to your Apple Account. It belongs to your Norvin account, so it covers you on norvin.fit too. Joining on the web and on Android will come later.

You'll find your membership in Profile › Membership. It shows whether you're on a free trial or a member, and when your trial ends or your membership renews. If you're not a member, tap your status there to see the membership options, which include:

  • Restore purchases — already a member, but on a new phone or signed in again? Tap this to pick your membership back up.
  • Redeem a code — if you have an offer code, redeem it here through the App Store.

Give a month, get a month

Once you're a member, Profile › Membership has your own link to share, in the app and on norvin.fit. Friends who join through it get a free month of the yearly plan instead of the free trial, then it renews yearly unless they cancel. When one of them becomes a member and makes their first payment, your next month is free too. You can earn up to six free months a year this way.

Your link also comes along when you invite a friend or share a leaderboard result or a finished training block.

If a friend invited you, open their link on your iPhone, or sign up on norvin.fit from it. Your free month then waits in the Norvin app: redeem it there, through the App Store. It's for new members, one per person.

A free month to claim

When you've earned a free month, Norvin tells you, and Profile › Membership says You have a free month. Claim it in the Norvin app on iPhone, under Profile › Membership: Apple makes your next month of membership free at your next renewal. Free months are claimed in the app because Apple applies them; norvin.fit shows them but can't claim them.

Renewal and cancelling

Your membership renews automatically at the end of each month or year, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. A yearly membership gets a reminder about a week before it renews: by email, even if you've turned Norvin's emails off, and by push if notifications are on.

Cancel any time in your iPhone's Settings: tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Norvin. In Norvin, Profile › Membership › Manage subscription opens the same place.

Your membership lasts until the end of the period you've already paid for, and doesn't renew after that.

To switch between monthly and yearly, use Manage subscription too.

Deleting your Norvin account doesn't cancel an App Store subscription — cancel it in Subscriptions too.

If a payment fails

If Apple can't renew your subscription, Profile › Membership tells you. Check your payment details under Manage subscription, and Apple tries the renewal again.

Refunds

Membership is billed by Apple, so Apple handles refunds. In Norvin, tap Profile › Membership › Request a refund, or ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple reviews the request and emails you the result, usually within 48 hours.

If your membership ends

Your history and your data stay yours. Without membership you keep:

  • your full workout history and records
  • sync with your connected accounts
  • logging past rows
  • data export
  • the leaderboards you're on

Your plan, live rowing, the analysis, the Coach's note, Trends and immersive scenes need membership. Your plan pauses rather than being deleted, so it's there if you come back — tap Rejoin Norvin.
